Associated OrganisationsThe Institute has formal links with like minded groups internationally and in Australia and has a policy of forming links where they further the objectives of the Institute. Working links have been formed with:The Centre for Systemic DevelopmentThe University of Western Sydney, AustraliaThe Centre is a designated Research Centre of the University of Western Sydney. Its origins lie in the internationally acclaimed innovations in experiential education and systemic action research pioneered by its School of Agriculture and Rural Development Centre. Staff and associates are drawn from across the entire university and from industry, government and community leaders. They offer a human resource capable of addressing the management of change in a wide range of circumstances. Institute members have cooperated with the Centre for Systemic Development on several projects involving participatory planning internationally and within Australia and have agreed on long term research collaboration in development planning. The two institutions have appointed members to each other's advisory panels and the Institute's Sydney office is located with the Centre's office on the campus of the University of Western Sydney. The Centre has a core staff of 17 professionals and research staff which cross all of the disciplines related to change in rural environments from the social to the technical
